Stitchtober 2017

Now that Stitchtober is finally done for another year (phew!) I can carry on with some other exciting projects that I have in progress.

I am collaborating on some embroidery along with fashion designer Hogan McLaughlin, stitching onto some clothing in one of his upcoming collections. It's really exciting for me as I've been wanting to work on some proper clothes embroidery for a while, so watch this space for details!

I thought I'd begin this little blog with some details of the Stitchtober pieces that I made, and mention some of my favourites too.

I felt like I began quite strongly, and ran out of steam a little by the time I made it to number 10, but despite falling behind a bit on some of the days, I kept going all the same.

Almost there now...

 Days 28 through to 31!

Days 28 through to 31!

I was about 2 days late finishing them all (since it was supposed to be an embroidery every day of the month) but I still completed 31 embroideries, so I was still happy with that.

Also, really exciting little bit of news, I had a little mini feature written about me, and specifically this years Stitchtober over on Martha Stewart, that you can read about here.
